The resort on Koh Phangan welcomes you to the island famous for
its Full Moon Parties as well as a stunning wealth of virgin
tropical forests. Whether you prefer to have a quiet
holiday hiking in the mountains and lounging by the pool or
if you want to party until dawn, you can have it all in Awe!
Four modern
villas are available on a private beach and each can
accommodate a maximum of 4 persons with no extra charge.
Each villa comes with a kitchen, an open-air living room,
balcony, TV, DVD, heated showers and two beds (one king and
queen) in an uninterrupted space that spans the entire
second floor. We also feature a saltwater beachfront pool
that won’t burn your skin or sting your eyes. Our
restaurant is located on the beach or go ahead and explore
the 6 other restaurants within a 10-minute walk along the
beach from the resort.
We are located
just 10 minutes (2 KMS) from the main port town of Tongsala
and 20 minutes (4 KMS) from the party beach of Haad Rin.
Shared taxis are abundant from the main road, a 5 minute
walk from the villas. We have a 24-hour staff standing by
for all of your needs.
Koh Phangan
Its claim
to fame might not be the most wholesome: a wild party on a
full moon night that’s been keeping people on the other side
of sobriety since at least the mid 80s. Welcome to Koh
Phangan, an island mostly misunderstood by most, but loved
by many. It is located 30 minutes away from Koh Samui, but
worlds apart.
Likely, you
already know all about the Full Moon Party (or you will do
research, no doubt), so without sounding too arrogant: it is
all that, and then some.
Haad Rin
is a very popular beach on the island (it hosts the Full
Moon Party)
Partying
aside, the island boasts a stunning wealth of natural
beauty. Most of the island is a preserved national park
with challenging hikes and viewpoints. Triathlons and
mountain bike races are a regular fixture for the island.
The diving around Koh Phangan is stunning, with easy access
to unbelievable coral reefs. Yoga is abundant.
The charm
is that it still feels like an island. No crazy-big condos,
malls, and outlets (or at least, not yet). Everyone is
really laid back and friendly.
Although the resort is private, the beach in front
of the resort makes excellent cruising grounds. Awe Resort,
right next to Phangan Beach Resort. It’s not as noisy as
Haad Rin and the view of Samui Island, as well as the beach,
are exquisite.
